Coming from a huge Tom and Jerry fan, I actually enjoyed this cartoon. Is it as good as any of the Hanna Barbera cartoons? No, while this was very enjoyable, most of the Hanna Barbera cartoons were classics. But is it better than the Gene Dietch cartoons? You bet it is, a few of those almost made me have a brain hemorrhage, and I'd rather have two really painful mouth ulcers than sit through Switchin' Kitten again.
Of Feline Bondage is a little too short and occasionally a bit too quick in the pacing. However, the animation is not bad at all, not absolutely brilliant, but there are some handsome backgrounds and colours. And I liked the upbeat soundtrack, and the story was efficient and interesting. Plus the sight gags and violence was funny, in alternative to stomach-churning like they were in the Gene Dietch cartoons. Tom and Jerry are still their likable selves, and the Fairy Godmouse(wonderfully voiced by the great June Foray) is a nice touch.
Overall, I liked Of Feline Bondage. 8/10 Bethany Cox
