Once Lata Mangeskar couldn't report for recording. This gave an idea to the eccentric Kishore Kumar. Why not sing both the male and the female part of a duet. Which he did. The male voice was picturised on Pran. And the female voice. Yes, on himself. Aake Seedhi Lagi !.
During the recording of the song "Aake Seedhi Lagi Dil Pe", Kishore Kumar convinced music director Salil Choudhury that he would sing both the male and the female voices in the song and went on to do it in the final recoded version.
Kishore Kumar wasn't giving dates for the film so producer , director Kalidas taught of teaching him a lesson and complained the income tax department that Kishore Kumar isn't pay full of his taxes.Few days later Kalidas came to Kishore Kumar's house where they chatted over tea and then Kishore Kumar locked him in a room.Kalidas for scared as he was taking revenge and pleased to open the door.But after an hour Kishore Kumar opened the door and told him never ever to come to his house.But completed the film's shoot and also song male and female version of iconic song Aake Seedhi Lagi Dil Pe.
Kishore Kumar also essayed character of his dead mother whose only scene in photograph.
