This an enjoyable and feeling movie full of mirth , sensitiveness , humor touches and enjoyable message based on a story and screenplay by Manuel Tamayo . At the same time the film gives us an ample panorama on Madrid life and about an Air Base . Miguelito (Pablito Calvo) is a seriously ill little boy who lives with his parents near the US Air base in Zaragoza (Aragón , Spain). Both the American (Antonio Vilar , Peter Damon) and Spanish commanders (Alfredo Mayo) and Sergeants (Fernando Sancho, Gerard Tichy) sacrifices themselves for others and they will do the impossible to get the doctors and medicines that will cure him . As Miguelito becomes ¨the mascot of the regiment¨. Grateful, Miguelito will stand at the air base to thank them their goodness .And gradually, was able to gain the trust and love of the relunctant military (Gerard Tichy) . Along the way , the film reflects the way of life in a Madrid barrio and especially at the US Air Force base .
