The mother of slain Officer Charleston Hartfield died just two days after her son’s funeral, which was held on Friday.

Hartfield was off-duty and with his wife at the Route 91 Harvest country music festival on Oct. 1 when gunman Stephen Paddock opened fire killing 58 people and injuring 489.

His mother, Sheryl Stiles was at the funeral but, just hours later, she suffered a heart attack and fell down the escalator of her hotel, according to a GoFundMe page set up for her funeral expenses.

Erin Moran‘s widower has penned a heart-wrenching open letter detailing the actress’ final days leading up to her death.

Case Summary

Because it’s the season premiere, we get a substantial taste of Jimmy’s black-and-white future before retreating into the past (more later). Specifically, the last moments of Season 2, when Jimmy confessed to Chuck that he was responsible for sabotaging him, and Chuck secretly recorded said confession.

Jimmy’s unaware of the recording when he comes back to Chuck, trying to reconnect with his brother, and for a moment the pair do seem to bond over childhood memories. Chuck, however, reminds Jimmy that his memories also include Jimmy’s recent betrayal, and — given the meeting Chuck has with Howard later — it’s clear Chuck is out for justice.

Five days after the shocking death of George Michael, the 53-year-old singer’s cause of death is still unknown.

According to a statement released by the Thames Valley police, a post-mortem examination as part of the investigation into Michael’s death carried out on Thursday was “inconclusive.”

Stalmaster has cast countless classics (“The Graduate,” “West Side Story”) and helped launch the careers of actors like John Travolta and Jeff Bridges. Yet, for the Academy, and its relatively new casting director branch, honoring the casting veteran has a deeper meaning and potentially larger implications.
