- TriviaThe first film in the history of the Cannes Film Festival where the whole cast was awarded Best Actor and Best Actress (16 actors of the ensemble) though the Best Actor award was shared with Spencer Tracy for Bad Day at Black Rock (1955). The other film to achieve a similar feat was Long Day's Journey Into Night (1962) but this time the acting award on both categories was shared with Murray Melvin and Rita Tushingham both for A Taste of Honey (1961).
