Hooped link chains are seen in many scenes but were not invented until roughly 1000 years after the setting for the 'Samson And Delilah' tale.
The Bible never gives the name of the first Philistine women that Samson had a relationship with, nor does it say that she was related to Delilah.
They did the worst possible job of constructing a set that looks like a temple that would collapse on everyone through damage to two columns. Not only does it have dozens of closely spaced columns, but it barely even has a roof! Everyone has to stand there implausibly under the one tiny overhang waiting for its slow collapse.
When Delilah is sitting on the patio wall of her home, shadows fall on the blue sky behind her, revealing it to be a painted backdrop.
Immediately after Dagon falls a column falls near the dais. As it tilts over the "stone" develops a crease as it falls.
Shortly after Samson's enslavement, there is a montage of a crop being sown, growing and coming to ripeness - to give an indication of the time passing. The seed is being broadcast by hand, but as it grows, it can be seen green in rows, showing that it was actually sown by a mechanical seed drill.
When the soldier holding up the red-hot sword makes his final approach towards Samson, a reflection of the glowing sword tip can be seen in mid-air, revealing a protective sheet of glass between Victor Mature and the hot sword.
Just after Delilah rings for her servant to bring dinner, the mike boom casts a shadow on one of the curtain walls of her tent.
A boy in Samson's village is named "Saul." Samson hints or predicts that one day he will be king of Israel. The script states repeatedly that Samson was a "Danite" (member of the Tribe of Dan). The Bible states King Saul was a member of the Tribe of Benjamin and grew up near Jerusalem (not in Dan's territory).
Instead of ancient Hebrew or Philistine language, the tribe of Dan and the Philistines speak modern English.
