A bunch of adults take a hormone medicine by professor Puosu and they start acting like kids.Väinö Kehkonen is a manager and a wimp of a man.His wife Helena likes more the thuggish Kivi.But this medicine, Puosuliini changes many things.And while the effect of the medicine stops with his wife and the Ärmäläs, Kehkonen's childish behavior doesn't stop.Hormoonit Valloillaan (1948) is directed by Orvo Saarikivi.It's based on Armas J. Pulla's "Hormoonit Hallitsevat" from 1946.Joel Rinne is brilliant as Väinö, or Väiski, as he prefers to be called.He makes a perfect child.Hilkka Helinä is wonderful as Helena.Reino Valkama and Rauha Rentola make a great team as Aukusti and Liisa Ärmälä.Arvo Lehesmaa is fantastic as Leander Tiburtus Puosu.The young Lasse Pöysti gives the most energetic performance as the errand boy Pena.William Markus is very good as Kivi.Great job by Paavo Jännes, who plays Antero Koro.Kyllikki Forssell plays Typist.Uuno Montonen portrays Jeparinen.Irja Kuusla is Old Woman while Saara Ranin plays Mother.Veikko Linna is Pahkanen.Martti Katajisto is seen as Young Man.The movie has lots of fun stuff.You see the big man driving with that little moped, that's pretty amusing.And him doing mischievous things on the street.And him going to the sandbox full of other kids.Jopi and Pöysti play Indian games in the office.And Jopi shoots a policeman with a slingshot.Then the policeman uses the same gun to a detective.So this big child's behavior makes others act like him.This movie shows how much more fun it is to be a kid.
