According to EmilSitka.com, in the scene where The Three Stooges and Christine McIntyre are eating a cake that Shemp Howard accidentally decorated with bubble gum, the "bubbles" that are blown aren't actually bubble-gum bubbles--they're condoms.
When they are mixing different liquids into the boot, one of the things mumbled is Harry Cohn, who was the president of Columbia Pictures at the time.
The part where Serena and The Stooges eat the cake with "marshmallows" on them was supposed to happen before the sequence where Amos Flint tries the Fountain of Youth formula, but due to sloppy editing, it appears after, instead. This error was corrected when the short was remade as Bubble Trouble (1953).
Production #4104.
