- [Deschamps will lead the police way to find that Francine is dead or alive. Inspector Renard and Deschamps Lutien finds out. Here where she was getting painting. Deschamps discovers that his daughter Francine Lutien was lying dead]
- Inspector Renard: We're breaking in! Renard, go on down to the road and keep a sharp lookout!

- Gaston Morrell: Put your shoulders! Can't you straighten up? Not so square.

- [Gaston has to see Francine. Lamarte overhear this. And Gaston open the shades and explain to Francine.]

- [Lamarte has pack his belongings and leave his office. And was grabbed by the hand of Gaston Morrell. And he sat down for a minute]
- Gaston Morrell: Lamarte, how many others have you told that I painted the pictures you have sold to the Duke?
- Jean Lamarte: No one. No one.
- Gaston Morrell: You're not telling me the truth.
- [And Gaston has closed the door. And find out that Deschamp was lying on the floor]
- Gaston Morrell: And you were trying to sneak out of here leaving the blame for this to me as well.
- Jean Lamarte: No. No, I wasn't!
- [Doorbell ringing]
- Gaston Morrell: So, and you even had it timed, didn't you? You were going to be gone from here when they got in.
- [Doorbell ringing. Gaston overheard the doorbell ringing outside. Gaston is going over there. Lamarte is scared of fear. Doorbell ringing. And Gaston is going to murder and strangling Lamarte. Lamarte was struggling to get away from Gaston. Renard blow whistle. And Lamarte was falling over the desk and landed on the floor. He was going to get up. But stopped by Gaston. Lamarte was going to fight back at Gaston, but Lamarte is dead]
