This is one of about three dozen British films picked up by CBS in 1949 for USA television presentation; its initial telecast in New York City took place Friday 24 June 1949 on WCBS (Channel 2). It first aired In Salt Lake City Thursday 7 July 1949 on KSL (Channel 5), in Cincinnati Tuesday 30 August 1949 on WCPO (Channel 7), in Los Angeles Monday 17 October 1949 on KLAC (Channel 13), and in Boston Sunday 15 January 1950 on WNAC (Channel 7). Although this title had been shown theatrically in the USA in 1942 in an edited format, released by Monogram Pictures, these telecasts were its USA premiere in its complete, original version.
