- An ex A-list South African actress has been relegated to the sideline of the theatre community due the fact that she's reached a "certain age". This is her struggle to regain her audience and claw her way back into the limelight.
- The concept of this film can be described by Pieter Brueghel's oil on canvas painting, The Harvesters. On this painting, as our gaze is focused at the workers, the same workers are the ones staring back at us. The film explores the dynamics of class, power relations as well as male perspectives towards women in South Africa. This is a short film narrative of sixteen (16) minutes. The action unfolds in a petrol station. The film explores how men perceive women as subjects of their gaze and as objects that can be misused and abused. The film also serves as a platform for women to fight back and show that while men think they are on top of things, it's actually the women that are in control. Thus we can relate to Brueghel's masterpiece, The Harversters; as men gaze, women stares back at them.
