Lennart Jähkel was born on 27 September 1956 in Piteå, Norrbottens län, Sweden. He is an actor, known for The Hunters (1996), As It Is in Heaven (2004) and Goda grannar (1987).- Anniqa Järlefors, born 1950 in Piteå, is a Swedish actress, exotic dancer/performer, snake charmer, singer, fitness instructor and artist. Her career as an exotic dancer and snake charmer started in the late 60's in Swedish amusement parks and fun fairs. She made her screen debut in "Pippi Långstrump" 1969. The following years she relocated to Denmark performing at cabarets and clubs. In the middle of the 70's Anniqa appeared in a couple of movies and married the Danish boxer Hans Jørgen Jacobsen. In 1985 she emigrated to the United States with her new husband, body builder Sven-Ole Thorsen. The couple settled in California where Anniqa started her new career now as a fitness instructor and body builder. She also started painting and subsequently exhibitions in both the US and Europe followed.

Viktoria Mattila was born on 29 April 1972 in Piteå, Norrbotten, Sweden. She is a costume designer and assistant director, known for Exit (2006), Between Two Fires (2010) and The Third Wave (2003).- Mattias Öhlund is a Swedish former professional ice hockey defenceman who played in the National Hockey League (NHL) for the Vancouver Canucks and Tampa Bay Lightning. Öhlund played two seasons in the Swedish Allsvenskan, the second highest tier of hockey in Sweden, with Piteå HC before being selected by the Canucks 13th overall in the 1994 NHL Entry Draft. He then joined Luleå HF of the Elitserien, the highest league in Sweden, winning the Le Mat Trophy as league champions in 1996. He began his NHL career with Vancouver in 1997-98, the start of an 11-year tenure with the club in which he became the Canucks' all-time leader in points for a defenceman (since surpassed by Alexander Edler). Öhlund would play the final two seasons of his professional career with the Tampa Bay Lightning before retiring in 2011. A serious eye injury before his third NHL season was the first of many injuries Öhlund has sustained over his career, and he only played a full season twice in his 13-year NHL career.
Internationally, Öhlund represented Sweden in numerous tournaments, beginning with three World Junior Championships that included Best Defenceman honors as part of a silver medal effort in 1996. He has since competed in three World Championships, earning gold in 1998, and three Winter Olympics, earning gold in 2006. - Thord Carlsson was born on 10 July 1931 in Piteå, Sweden. He was an actor, known for The Apple War (1971), Kvartetten som sprängdes (1973) and Mosebacke Monarki (1967). He died on 9 November 2005 in Piteå, Sweden.
