Andrea Louise Riseborough is an English actress and producer. She made her film debut with a small part in Venus (2006), and has since appeared in more prominent roles in Happy-Go-Lucky (2008), Never Let Me Go, Brighton Rock, Made in Dagenham (all 2010), W.E. Charles Matthew Hunnam was born on April 10, 1980 in Newcastle, England, to Jane (Bell), a business owner, and William Hunnam, a scrap metal merchant. At 18 years of age, he made a guest appearance in popular TV series Byker Grove (1989).

He gained fame in Britain thanks to his television role as the love-smitten Nathan Maloney in Queer as Folk (1999). Independent movies, television series and auditions for such blockbusters as Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones (2002) followed, but it wasn't until 2002 that Charlie started to attract international attention, when he supported Katie Holmes in the suspense thriller Abandon (2002).

Janet McTeer was born on August 5, 1961 in Newcastle, England, UK to parents Jean and Allan McTeer. She was raised in York from the age of 6. She attended Queen Anne Grammar School for Girls, where there was not much opportunity for drama. She became interested in acting at age 16, when she saw "She Stoops to Conquer" at the York Theater. She worked as a waitress at the same theater, where she once served a coffee to Gary Oldman. He suggested that she apply to attend the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), where he had just finished studying. She successfully gained a place at RADA. Geraldine had her breakout role as 'Kayla' opposite Leslie Mann, Ike Barinholtz and John Cena in the Universal comedy "Blockers," directed by Kay Cannon.

Born in Newcastle, a small city on the coast of New South Wales, Australia, model Charlee Fraser knew little of the fashion industry when she was suddenly thrust into the global fashion scene. In 2020 Charlee moved from New York City back to Australia, where she became the ambassador for First Nations Fashion + Design (FNFD), a not-for-profit organisation that aims to build an ecology of Indigenous artists and talent within the fashion industry. In December of 2020 she helped lead and produce the 'Walking in Two Worlds' program, in which she mentored up-and-coming Indigenous models from community, and in 2022 she accepted a role on FNFD's board of directors. Charlee also founded the sustainability campaign NOT JUST TRENDING, unveiling the project at Australian Fashion Week in 2021. Defined by her passion for ethically sourced and produced fashion and beauty, Charlee parlayed the success of NOT JUST TRENDING into a much-downloaded sustainability guide.

In 2023, Charlee turned her eye toward acting for the first time, quickly winning significant roles in two major film productions. The first, a Warner Brothers action film, due for release on 23 May 2024, titled Furiorsa. The second, a romantic comedy 'Anyone But You'distributed by Sony which was released in cinemas 26 December 2023.

Charlee is also co-founder of Clearly Music, Arts & Wellness Festival, a unique annual event focusing on wellness, community, and inclusion held in Kiama, New South Wales. Charlee's focus will be strategizing and implementing sustainable practices within the festival, overseeing every element of the event's planning to push all sectors to adopt the most sustainable options available. The inaugural Clearly Festival will be held on Saturday November 11th 2023, and will feature acts including Xavier Rudd, Skegss, and Gretta Ray. Spanning two days, Clearly will deliver a range of opportunities for the next generation of creatives and artists.

Sarah Wynter is an Australian actress, known for her roles on American television - such as Kate Warner on the television drama 24, as Beth on Windfall, and as Keitha on Flight of the Conchords. Wynter was born in Newcastle.

Paul W.S. Anderson gained a fair bit of notoriety in his native England when he directed the ultra-violent Shopping (1994) (which he also wrote), starring Jude Law and Sean Pertwee in a story about thieves who steal by ramming a car into storefronts. The film was banned in some cinemas in England, and became a direct-to-video slightly edited release in the United States.

Shopping (1994) allowed Anderson to get the chance to direct Mortal Kombat (1995), an adaptation of the hit video game, which showcased his directorial trademarks - visually stunning scenery and quick-cut editing. The film did well enough for him to choose his next project, which was Soldier (1998) with Warner Bros., with Kurt Russell in the lead. Unfortunately, Russell decided at the time to go on hiatus, pushing the release date of that film into 1998. In the meantime, Anderson directed Event Horizon (1997) from a script by Philip Eisner, which featured Anderson regulars Sean Pertwee and Jason Isaacs. The science fiction/horror film, a Gothic horror version of Solaris (1972), was stylish and scary, but was critically panned and did not do well in the box office, which Anderson blamed on studio-enforced cuts to the story. (Anderson has promised a Director's Cut, though none has been announced as of yet).

Soldier (1998) didn't fare well with critics and box office either, and Anderson's planned 2000 remake of Death Race 2000 (1975) was canceled. This forced him to think smaller, which led to The Sight (2000), a supernatural mystery movie that was a minor hit. He then resurfaced to direct another video game adaption, Resident Evil (2002). Long rumored among fans to be a choice comeback vehicle for zombie grandfather George A. Romero, the writing and directing credits eventually transferred to Anderson. He next was given the helm for the long-awaited film adaption of the popular Dark Horse comic book, Alien vs. Predator (2004).

He was born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne, and is the son of distinguished architect Professor Douglass Wise. It was assumed that he would be an architect, so he studied architecture in Edinburgh. He dropped out, though, after a while, and went to Glasgow to study drama.

His second feature as both writer and director,'The Descent' 2005 was an even bigger critical and commercial hit, winning several awards including the BIFA for Best Director, and the Empire award for Best Horror. He followed this success with the post-apocalyptic action movie 'Doomsday' 2008 for Universal and historical adventure 'Centurion' 2010. In 2012 Neil made his debut in the world of high-end television with 'Game of Thrones' S2 Ep9 'Blackwater', and followed that up with S4 Ep9 'The Watchers on the Wall' for which he received an Emmy Nomination for Best Director.

Marshall continued to work in the network, cable and streaming arenas directing projects such as the pilot episodes of 'Black Sails' for Starz, DC's 'Constantine' and 'Timeless' both for NBC. Marshall also directed notable episodes of 'Hannibal' for Showtime and 'Westworld' for HBO. In 2017 Neil developed, produced and directed the Netflix reboot of classic sci-fi series 'Lost in Space', quickly followed the same year by the feature film reboot of 'Hellboy' released in 2018.

In 2020 Marshall made his return to independent film and the horror genre with the multi-award winning witch-hunt saga 'The Reckoning' which was the opening movie at Fantasia festival in Canada that year. Marshall's next movie 'The Lair', an all action-creature-feature set in Afghanistan was the opening night presentation at Frightfest 2022 in London and also played Sitges in Spain before being released on Shudder in Feb 2023.

Marshall switched genres yet again for the violent gangster revenge movie 'Duchess', due to be released by Saban in the US in September 2024. Most recently Marshall directed the erotic giallo thriller 'Compulsion' and is developing several projects including WW2 alien invasion thriller 'Invaders', tense action thriller 'Dead Stop' and land speed record drama 'Mach One'.

Anne was born in Newcastle Upon Tyne but the family moved to Redcar when the WWII started. She was educated at White House School where she acted in a school play of Romeo and Juliet with June Laverick, who when older would also take to the stage. When Anne got older she was sent to a boarding school, Penrose College, in North Wales and at 11 was in a choir. Her father became a special correspondent for the Daily Telegraph following in the footsteps of her grandfather, an uncle and 3 brothers who were all journalists. Anne took elocution lessons and did bits in plays with a teacher who recognising her talent helped her to get into RADA after which she worked as as a stage manager and some work in repertory. Her first work in television involved sketches with Benny Hill but gave up acting in 1974 before returning in 1986 eventually making her name in the part of Valerie Barlow in the television soap Coronation Street.

Sting was born Gordon Matthew Sumner on 2 October, 1951 in Wallsend, North Tyneside, Tyne and Wear, England, the eldest of four children of Audrey (Cowell), a hairdresser, and Ernest Matthew Sumner, an engineer and milkman. He received his name from a striped sweater he wore which looked like a bee. He grew up in the turmoil of the ship-building industry and wanted to become a musician very early. He played cruise ships, backing strippers in cabarets, and developed a love for the bass guitar. Having played in jazz/rock bands like "Last Exit" and other various groups, including a dixieland jazz group, he settled down with Stewart Copeland and Andy Summers for a decade-long tenure with the smashing rock trio, The Police.

In 1984, he went on to record solo albums, and holds a reputation as one of the most literate songwriters and talented musicians in the world. He has also delved into acting, having starred in such films as Quadrophenia (1979), Radio On (1979), Plenty (1985), Julia and Julia (1987) (aka Julia and Julia), Dune (1984), Bring on the Night (1985) (a documentary about the formation of his Blue Turtles jazz group), most recently, Gentlemen Don't Eat Poets (1995), where he plays a bisexual, conniving butler.

He received an honorary Doctorate of Music degree from Northumbria University in October 1992, and from Berklee College of Music in May 1994. He plays guitar, bass guitar, mandolin, piano, harmonica, saxophone and pan-flute, and he gave a name to his bass (Brian).

Sting is married to film producer Trudie Styler, and has six children with Trudie and ex-wife, actress Frances Tomelty. Sting owns a Jacobian castle in Wiltshire, which he calls "Lake House", where he records his albums, as well as a place in London, an apartment in New York, a place on the beach in Malibu, California, and a Renaissance Florentine Villa called "Palagio" in Figline Valdarno, Tuscany, Italy. Along with his wife Trudie and a Brazilian Indian, he started the Rainforest Foundation in 1989 to help save rainforests.

Jill Halfpenny was born on 15th July, 1975, in Newcastle, to Maureen and Colin Halfpenny. However, her father passed away when she was very young, and her mother married Jill's uncle, Derek.

She is probably best known for her TV role as Rebecca Hopkins in Coronation Street (1960), Kate Mitchell in EastEnders (1985), and, more recently, Izzie Redpath in Waterloo Road (2006). She has also had many minor roles in other well-known TV shows, such as The Catherine Tate Show (2004), The Bill (1984), and Shameless (2004).

In 2004, she participated in the BBC1 show Strictly Come Dancing (2004) with professional dancer Darren Bennett. They won the competition, and took part in the one off Christmas Special, winning the title 'Champion Of Champions'. They also made an appearance at the Royal Variety Performance. In December, it was then announced she would play the role of Roxie Hart in Chicago from January 2005.

Other theatre work includes The Bodies, in 2005, where she acted alongside her husband, Craig Conway, and pantomimes at the Theatre Royal in 2005 and 2006. She also starred as Julia in a performance of George Orwell's 1984 in 2002, which is where she and Craig first met. She also starred as Norma Farnes in Surviving Spike, alongside Michael Barrymore, in early 2008, when she was 5-6 months pregnant.

Imogen Stubbs was born in Rothbury, Northumberland, lived briefly in Portsmouth, where her father was a naval officer, and then moved with her parents to London, where they inhabited an elderly river barge on the Thames. Emma Amos was born on 18 August 1964 in Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire, England, UK. She is an actress, known for Bridget Jones's Diary (2001), Secrets & Lies (1996) and Vera Drake (2004). She has been married to Jonathan Coy since 1998. They have one child.

From the age of one, Kevin Whately lived at Humshaugh near Chollerford in Northumberland. At school he appeared in school plays and when he asked his teacher about acting he was told ' You'll never make a proper living', so he joined a Newcastle accountants. Eventually he moved to London where he attended a drama school, but needing money he spent early mornings busking at Oxford Street tube station and evenings taking tickets at The Old Vic Theatre. David Leon was born in Newcastle-upon-Tyne and was a talented footballer. When he left school age eighteen he successfully auditioned for the National Youth Theatre and turned down a place at Drama school in order to take a role in Oliver Stone's 'Alexander', though he established himself with British television audiences in the Bafta nominated drama 'Cutting It' and starred as Billy the Kid in a BBC film about the Wild West legend. He played the lead character in renowned photographer Rankin's debut feature 'The Lives of the Saints' written by Toni Grisoni and appeared in Guy Ritchies Empire award-winning Rock'n'Rolla, in which he plays Scottish junkie Malcolm a part initially written for Brad Pitt. He is regarded as one of the UK's brightest up and coming talents.

Aimée Kelly is a BAFTA & BFI London Film Festival nominated British actress best known for her debut leading role in the feature film Sket (2011).
