Received a degree in Audiovisual Communication from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid (1998) and a PhD from the same university. He was one of the founders of the film magazine "Voz en off" (1996) and has worked as a producer, cinematographer and editor of various short films. As a writer and researcher in the history of cinema, he has written books such as "David Cronenberg: The Aesthetics of Blood" (Madrid: Nuer, 1999), "The Third Man / Ultimatum to Earth" (Barcelona: Dirigido por, 2001). Has collaborated in books like "Fantastic and Terror Cinema of German Films" (San Sebastián: Donostia Kultura, 2002). Adding his work as an author and editor has been responsible for the publication of more than 80 books related to the world of cinema. He has designed and written a multitude of librettos for collector's editions of films on DVD and Blu-ray for distributors such as Feel Films, Research Entertainment, Karma Films, Suevia Films, Crest Films or Impulso Films. From 2015 he returns to the field of audiovisual production in several co-productions between Arkadin Ediciones and the Chinese company Almost Red Productions, like a short-film filmed in Spain and in Asturian language, "Advent " (Ad-vientu, 2016), premiered at the 54th Gijón International Film Festival with an Audience Choice Award "Dia D'Asturias" for Best Film or chinese-spanish short-film "Ciruela de agua dulce" (Sunken Plum / Chen Li, 2017) premiered at the 62th Seminci (Valladolid International Week Film Festival) in October 2017 and winner of the prize Laboral Cinemateca Short Films Award at the 55th Gijón International Film Festival in November 2017.
