MAN CRAZY is another low budget sex comedy from the Shaw studio, made in 1982 and looking extremely dated and 1970s for its era. This one stars Hung Wei as a guy who gets involved with a trio of women, all of whom have different purposes in life. One's a romantic, one's a cynic, and the other spends her life deliberately scamming lecherous men. This plays out like a cheapie rom com with far less sex and nudity than you'd expect given the genre, and the truth is that it's both tawdry and dull. The actors, as ever, strive hard to bring their characters to life, but the latter are annoying, especially the skinny love interest who features predominantly at the climax.
