I love these old movies, they tend to be overblown fun. The acting is over the top and the stories are straight up crazy and I am there for that. This s in this camp. Although there are some moments of genuine suspense and some pretty creepy scenes. But the ending, while sweet, takes any bite out of it that the movie may have had. I liked the ending though, it was rather sweet, but it was also a bit of a cop out, but with these kinds of movies, you do have to expect that. The actors were likable and did a pretty good job. The house was suitably creepy and there were some good moments. It is one of the better movies to watch if you want some light fare.
