Good lord, just about every comedic actor working in 2009 is in this movie! Add to that, the volley of jokes that come at you in this first thirty or so minutes, it is hysterical. After that, the humor's pretty haphazard, but it still has that Adam McKay feel to it (McKay-adjacent, at least); which means Will Ferrell's bound to show up. He does and it is pure gold.
The one person that fits the movie to a tee (we're talking tailor-made, baby) is Jeremy Piven. Up until now, I thought "Grosse Pointe Blank" was his best, but he's on fire here. This is perfect for getting that "Very Bad Things" taste out of my mouth.
