A good watch, with fun characters and offbeat humor. The Funimation dub cast at this time was at its peak, with every voice/tone being just right. In just one season, there was enough character development to make you not only laugh at what the characters were doing, but invest you in the story and make you care about the turnout. The humor was ahead of its time, with topics of cross-dressing, implied incest, and individual sexuality being well-handled in, at times, serious and playful manners that fit the show and its themes.
That said, it was '06, so the animation style wasn't what it is now - with its Fruits Basket thousand yard stare in the characters eyes. Barring that though - highly recommend, and hoping that this eventually gets another season to give it a proper ending.
