The level of mystery and intrigue is quite brilliant, after Part 1 you felt that David Walker was definitely guilty for the murder of Judy Clayton, and that he'd taken his own life, but of course this is Durbridge, and the story goes way deeper then what's on the surface. Just when you think you're getting somewhere, and someone seems to be able to shed some light onto what's going on they're murdered, it really is the most intricately woven plot. Peter Barkworth is just brilliant in the lead role, so wonderfully charismatic, and sharp, and DI Denson certainly needs his A Game to get to the bottom of this, with the shocking discovery at the end of this episode, I'm sure he'll crusade to unmask the killer.
Compelling, 8/10
