Not sure if any of my review contains any actual spoilers or plot details (i guess any review could be). My review is focusing on the general outline of the movie. I really liked this remake. I thought the acting was really good and the characters were really likable, the story basis and many of the events were pretty much the same as the original. There were plenty of suspenseful moments (had to close eyes at a few). The only reasons why i didn't give this movie a 10 was that the music score wasn't as creepy as the original, it was a little short on time and there didn't seem to be much of a battle with the spirits (as there was in the original). If you treat this as a separate movie completely then it is really good-there are plenty of jumps, the acting is great, special effects are great and there were plenty of nods to the original (for fans of the original). I thought this was a great movie -a worthy remake, and i hope they consider a sequel if it does well at the box office.
