Three months earlier, attractive San Francisco architect Alicia Ziegler (as Catherine "Cate" Murphy) arrives in Los Angeles. By chance, she meets handsome architect Mark Hapka (as Harrison "Harry" Moore) before they are partnered on a project. Late at work, they are accidentally locked up in their office building and spend the evening cuddling. Not only is Mr. Hapka cute, he also has a spectacular home and frequently visits his mother's luxurious mansion. After meeting attractive mother Donna Mills (as Evelyn), Ms. Ziegler decides to move to Los Angeles and live with both Hapka and his hospitable mom...
As she contemplates marriage, Ziegler learns Hapka's former girlfriend disappeared suddenly. Director Michael Feifer might have had something if it stayed with Ziegler and Hapka in the office building, escaping from floor to floor as they tried to avoid a serial killer. Alas, only one room is locked and it has nothing to do with the main story. Ziegler and Hapka are an attractive couple. They don't need a locked room to hook up. The rest of the story is painfully predictable. A bikini-covered Ziegler and the swimming pool setting are beautifully photographed. Her character is far too obvious, but Ms. Mills looks amazingly beautiful with subtle gray and whispering wrinkles.
