Growing up in a small town in the north Georgia mountains, and having a high school football coach for a father, sports was center-stage for Chris at an early age. In high school, Chris excelled at baseball, football and the school's top-notch chorus program, but admits to this day he was a terrible student.
"I couldn't stay focused at all in class. All I wanted to do was play sports and entertain."
But performing would have to be put on hold as Chris signed a Baseball Scholarship to Pitch at Kennesaw State University where he played 4 years and earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, while learning acoustic guitar on the side.
After graduating he contemplated moving to LA, but as Bills started rolling in, he took a position in Sales for a Medical Company, where he spent the majority of his career.
In 2018, when TV/FILM made it's way into the Georgia market, Chris had an opportunity to spend a week on the set of Ozark. That experience, as he describes, "was the moment I wanted to do this now, and for the rest of my life!"
In March of 2020, as he was wrapping Production for his first SAG-AFTRA role in 'WTF-Where They Failed', a comedic depiction of the 'Audition Process', Covid halted all production. It was during this time Chris signed on with MI Talent Agency to represent him.
In April 2021, concerned he was drinking too heavily, Chris checked himself into a 30-day facility for help and remains sober and more focused than ever on his family, acting and writing. He resides just outside of Atlanta with his wife and two children.
