Krys Palacios

Born and raised in Kansas City, MO, Krys is the youngest of three sisters. When she graduated from Westport High School she enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served nine years as an H-1 Huey and Cobra helicopter avionics and weapons technician with tours to Iraq, Somalia, and Afghanistan.

After injuries ended her military career she attended The Los Angeles Film School in LA and graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Film Production with a concentration in Production Design. Krys initially started the Directing and Writing program, but switched concentrations when classmates frequently recruited her skills and experience in construction/property management for set builds and design. She has also stepped in as a military technical advisor for wardrobe and on-set coaching.

Krys relocated to Washington, DC in 2018, adding acting and voiceover work while functioning as a public relations specialist for various non-profit organizations involved with military veterans issues.
