Cassandre Girard
- Actress
Born in a small village of South of France from a French father and a Tunisian mother, Cassandre has always been inspired by what surrounded her. She started studying the arts at school and outside of school at a very young age going from music to singing, dancing, painting and theatre where she was part of a theatre troop at 11 years old until she moved to Dominican Republic at 15 years old for a year and a half where she learnt to speak Spanish fluently and also started a modelling career.
Cassandre decided to go and explore Australia on her own in 2013. She attended the Sydney Theatre School for the 1 Year Part Time Foundation Course in 2017, attended several Masterclasses, studied a 10 weeks Full time course with Kyle Rowling at the Action Acting Academy in early 2019 and a 2 weeks Full time course in 2021 where she graduated by becoming an advanced stage combatant. As a dedicated working actor, she has continued regular training since in both stage combat and screen acting, understanding that the craft of acting is forever evolving.
She has worked on Deadly Women, Home & Away, on the Marvel Production of Shang Shi and the legend of the Ten Rings, Thor: Love and Thunder, Three Thousand Years of Longing by George Miller, After She Died, Surreal and has recently wrapped on a new Australian Horror: Puzzle Box. She was also a part of the ensemble for the Waking Darkly theatre production playing at the Sydney Acting Studio, has been a lead talent for multiple print campaigns and several commercials as well as multiple short films.
She is a trained advanced combatant but also a very outgoing and energetic person who likes to try pretty much everything going from skydiving to becoming a Yoga Teacher or even being part of the French version of Survivor: Koh Lanta... twice.
Her speciality would be drama, but she doesn't shy away from the occasional comedy where her French sense of humour comes in handy.
Always professional, she loves to work closely with the director and her co-stars and make sure the story is being told as truthfully as possible.
