Mehmet Onur Bedek

Mehmet Onur Bedek, known for his roles in TV shows such as Back Streets (2018) and Payitaht Abdülhamid (2018), was born on April 24, 1987 in Izmir, Turkey. He attended a theater programme while he was preparing for college. Although his major was journalism, he realized his real passion was television and cinema. Incidentally, he found himself on set as a camera assistant at one of his college instructors' request. While working as a camera assistant for 9 months in Sefkat Tepe (2010) (TV Series), he landed his first acting job in the same TV series upon one of his friends' advice. Then, he started to work as an assistant director and assistant régie at MGA Productions for the following TV series, Unutma Beni (2008) (TV Series) and Beni Affet (2011) (TV Series), in which he also acted for a few episodes. In 2018, he appeared in Savasci (Warrior) (2017) (TV Series), Arka Sokaklar (2006) (TV Series) and Payitaht Abdülhamid (2017) (TV Series). In the same year, he made his first movie appearance in a film which is in TBA situation at the moment. Nowadays, he has been taking acting classes in order to improve his acting skills.
