Sachin B Ravi is an Indian film director, screenwriter, editor, colorist and VFX artist who works in Kannada cinema. He rose to fame following the success of his directorial debut Avane Srimannarayana (2019).
Sachin's first stint in cinema happened during the last year of his engineering when he got the opportunity to edit the film Simple Aagond Love Story (2013). He was the editor for Rakshit Shetty's Ulidavaru Kandanthe (2014) before working on other films such as Godhi Banna Sadharana Mykattu (2016) and Kirik Party (2016). After making a name in the industry as a technician, Sachin got the opportunity to direct Rakshit Shetty's Avane Srimannarayana (2019). The film was a fantasy adventure in which a police officer attempts to solve the mystery behind a lost treasure. The film was received well by the audiences and critics alike. In November 2020, Sachin announced that he will be directing Shivaraj Kumar in a film based on the character of Ashwattama.
