An award-winning actress and model, Ms. Walker has been active in the industry since 2017. Drawing on her passion for soap operas since she was a young girl, Ms. Walker focuses her work mainly on religious drama and real-life stories.
Ms. Walker previously led a long and distinguished career with the local government. Hired by the U.S. Postal Service, she worked at a local office for many years before retiring as a supervisor due to health reasons. Ms. Walker's decision to pursue acting was a way for her to return to work and get into a field for which she is very enthusiastic.
An advocate for victims' rights, Ms. Walker tragically lost her 17-year-old daughter due to a hit-and-run in February 2020. She is still notably waiting for the case to be presented in court, which has been delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The suspect has been out on bond since the day after the accident occurred. Ms. Walker also supports various other causes dear to her heart, including Susan G. Komen for the Cure.
Born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina, Ms. Walker graduated from Spring Valley High School and subsequently enlisted in the U.S. Navy where she served as an operation specialist during the Gulf War. She was honorably discharged three years later. Shortly thereafter, Ms. Walker completed coursework in radiology at Midlands Technical College.
Highlighting her professional achievements, Ms. Walker was the number one runner-up at Miss Fashion Global in 2021. She previously received a Recognition Award from the U.S. Postal Service and a Letter of Commendation from the U.S. Navy. Ms. Walker credits her success to being in the right place at the right time. She also notes being a very strong and hardworking woman who is dedicated to her commitments.
