Floribama Shore will not be returning to MTV.
The cabler has announced it will not proceed with the reality series's fifth season.
However, Deadline notes that "the future of the series is being evaluated" by the network.
Whether that means the show could end up at another outlet down the line, we don't know, but for now, the series is over.
Footage was shot at star Nilsa Prowant's wedding last year, which was said to be used in a fifth season.
TMZ reports that the series was set to return to filming earlier this year, but that it had been pushed back to Covid-19.
Now, there's no telling whether that footage will ever see the light of day.
Some of the cast members hinted there was unrest earlier this month when they shared Tweets that seemingly alleged they had yet to be paid by either the network or production company.

So much for “puke, rally, repeat” because the MTV reality series Floribama Shore won’t be returning for a fifth season. According to Deadline, the future of the series is being evaluated. Initially, cast members Aimee Hall, Candace Rice, Jeremiah Buoni, Codi Butts, Nilsa Prowant, Gus Smyrnios, and Kirk Medas lived together in a house on the Florida panhandle, but in recent seasons, due to the coronavirus pandemic, filming relocated to Missoula, Montana and Lake Havasu City, Arizona. The series has been filled with all sorts of drama, and that drama continued off the show on Fear Factor in a grotesque competition against members of Jersey Shore. There will be one person who won’t be too sad about the cancellation of this educational program, and that’s the mayor of Panama City Beach, Mike Thomas who, after the cast moved from Pcb to St. Petersburg, Florida was quoted as...

Don’t expect to see a new season of Floribama Shore anytime soon. MTV has opted not to move forward with a fifth season of the reality series, at least for now, sources tell Deadline. We hear the future of the series is being evaluated.
Floribama Shore is an extension to MTV’s blockbuster Shore franchise from Jersey Shore creator/executive producer SallyAnn Salsano. The first three seasons were set in the Florida Panhandle, then the show headed west to Montana and Lake Havasu, Az.
Season 4 picked up following an explosive summer in St. Pete Beach as castmates Jeremiah Buoni, Codi Butts, Aimee Hall, Kirk Medas, Nilsa Prowant, Candace Rice and Gus Smyrnios reunited for their annual trip, but things looked a bit different. With limited access to the outside world at their remote location, the group was forced to face the wounds of the previous summer head on. The...

If reality television is one of your guilty pleasures, you’ve undoubtedly already heard about “Floribama Shore.” A successor to “Jersey Shore,” one of the OGs of reality TV, “Floribama Shore” follows the lives of young adults spending the summer in Panama City Beach, Florida – a party hub of the Gulf Coast.
Since its debut in 2017, the show has proven wildly popular, continuing for four seasons and hopefully gearing up for a fifth. Read on to learn more.
What Is “Floribama Shore” About?
MTV’s “Floribama Shore” follows the lives of young adults as they spend the summer in the party-heavy Florida Panhandle. Cast members tend to be young, good-looking, and wild — proving to be quite the combination of entertaining traits for reality TV.

We last saw MTV’s Floribama Shore cast in quarantine. Production abruptly shut down in Lake Havasu, Arizona when a crew member tested positive for Covid-19. The show had moved from the blizzard conditions of Montana, where they filmed earlier episodes in Season 4. There was a lot of unfinished business, but fear not: Jeremiah Buoni, Kirk Medas, Gus Smyrnios, Candace Rice, Nilsa Prowant, Codi Butts, and Aimee Hall reconvened in Georgia for a fifth round, premiering September 16. And with dogs, goats, and Aimee’s pet pig, it’s officially become a real animal house. New mom Nilsa, Codi, and Aimee checked in to talk about all the new developments and returning back to the Dirty South. MTV Tell us what it was like to have your vacation cut short due to Covid. Nilsa Prowant: We left so much stuff unsaid. We didn’t want our vacation to end like that.

Floribama Shore finally has a return date at MTV.
The beloved series last aired almost a year ago, but it will finally return with its fourth season on Thursday, February 25 at 8/7c.

Nilsa Prowant is expecting her first child.
The Floribama Shore star announced the news via her Instagram account, revealing that her little bundle of joy will arrive in May 2021.
"Even in the darkest of times the Lord still shines his light. Our greatest adventure is about to begin," she wrote on Instagram, alongside a photo of her and her boyfriend, Gus Gazda.
And no, it's not that Gus, if you're wondering.
If you watch Floribama Shore online, you know Prowant had a relationship early into the run of the show with Gus Smyrnios, her co-star.
Nilsa made her reality TV debut with Floribama Shore back in 2017, a spin-off of the wildly successful Jersey Shore franchise.
While MTV has not officially renewed Floribama Shore for a fourth season, Deadline recently reported that production was well underway.
But it hit a major snag after a positive Covid-19 test meant the show was put in limbo.

The Jersey Shore family has changed.
On Jersey Shore: Family Vacation Season 3 Episode 1, we picked up with Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino's sentencing, and it was a difficult watch for fans of the series.
"My heart is racing right now, but at the end of the day, I have to be prepared to hold my head high and face whatever's coming," Mike said on a somber note at the top of the season premiere.
Thankfully, Mike's castmates were on hand when he arrived at Otisville Federal Correctional Institution in Otisville, New York to start his sentence.
The paparazzi, his wife, and his castmates were all there for moral support.
In a truly bizarre twist, the episode then went back in time to chronicle the events leading to that moment.
Mike and Lauren wanted to get married quickly, so they would be able to seal their relationship before his stint in the big house kicked off.

The premiere episode scored a 1.05 rating in P18-34, up 12% from the series premiere (.94) and +36% from the season one average (.77). Total viewership was up 16% from the series premiere and up 34% from the season one average.
MTV Floribama Shore features original cast members Jeremiah Buoni, Codi Butts, Kortni Gilson, Aimee Hall, Kirk Medas, Nilsa Prowant, Candace Rice and Gus Smyrnios. The second season brings the group back to Panama City Beach for spring break to see what life’s next chapter holds for them.
In next week’s episode titled, “Dirty But Worth It,” the bond between the roommates is slow to gel when harsh words open old wounds between Jeremiah and Codi. While another prank puts the housemates on high alert, Gus puts his new play boy attitude on display and Nilsa likes what she sees.

Hold up — is someone pregnant on Floribama Shore? The newest trailer for the hit MTV show certainly alludes to it, but now fans are left wondering who it could be. Given that Kortni Gilson was the one who questioned it, we're sure we can rule her out of the running — which means there are only three girls left! Although we won't know anything until the episode airs, we broke down the possibilities: Candace Rice Just two days ago, 25-year-old Candace attended the Hollywood Confidential with Tiffany Haddish in a belly-baring ensemble that revealed a toned set of abs. "One of the most inspiring nights I've had in a long time listening to @tiffanyhaddish speak," she wrote in the caption on Instagram. "Don't ever give up on your dreams... oh yeah... I'm back straight baybeeee." Of course, she could be in her first trimester, which means she wouldn't be showing just yet!

Missed his chance. Floribama Shore star Jeremiah Buoni previously opened up exclusively to Life & Style about MTV’s Jersey Shore spin-off — in which fans saw the hunky gym enthusiast totally shut down co-star Nilsa Prowant’s flirtatious advances in the premiere episode. But, according to Jeremiah, he only ignored the brunette beauty because his buddy Gus Smyrnios already had a thing for her. “If that wasn't the case, I probably would have gone after her. But even after meeting Gus, I knew that we were similar people and I knew that if I did something, I would have lost his respect immediately,” the Clermont, Fl, native explained. “I just wasn't willing to actually go for it that way.” A post shared by Nilsa Prowant (@nillythesquid) on Oct 30, 2017 at 8:17am Pdt Not long after Gus took Nilsa on a date — which, Tbh, was awkward Af — Jeremiah asked the house’s resident wild child,...

On the surface – and "surfacey" is probably what MTV's producers were going for – Floribama Shore was marketed as trash TV in the vein of Jersey Shore: attractive millennials getting smashed and smashing things. It's a winning formula that has worked countless times for the network, going back to The Real World and even the beach dance show The Grind.
