An actor and musician known for his versatility as an actor, nominated for the kids choice awards (2017) and twice nominated for the TV and novel awards (2017-2018) for his renowned biographical role of "Kaleth Morales" in the famous series " The dynasty ". However, his interpretations by Jason Vergara in "Hidden Truth" (2020), and "Anibal Velasquez" (2018) also gain importance in his filmography.
Jeronimo Cantillo was born on September 4, 1993 in Valledupar, Cesar, Colombia, and grew up in Santa Marta and Bogotá DC. He is the son of Romualda Saumet, judicial attorney and Milciades Cantillo Costa, Colombian politician and writer He has an older brother, Milciades cantillo and a younger sister, Yendhy Cantillo. At San Luis Beltran High School, Jerónimo, he participated in sports, debates, student government, and school musicals. Jeronimo attended the Universidad Javeriana, where he studied audiovisual arts and dramatic art. He dropped out of college two years before graduating as his acting commitments did not allow him to complete his academic responsibilities.
Cantillo's first credited roles were on television, beginning in the late-night novel "Amor de Carnaval" (2011). After a series of guest appearances on various television series over the course of 5 years, Jeronimo Cantillo rose to fame with his first starring role as "Kaleth Morales" in "Los Morales" or "The Dynasty", where he played a famous Colombian singer who fell in love with millions of viewers around the world. This led him to leading and important roles in series such as "Anibal Sensation Velasquez" (2018), "Tormenta de Amor" (2019) and Hidden Truth (2020). In addition to his special participation in the movie "Libertad" directed by Jose Luis Arzuaga and starring Majida Issa.
Currently the public awaits his leading role in the remake of the world-renowned series "Rebelde" produced by Netflix, recorded in 2021 and announced in March 2021 as one of its great titles for 2022.
