Born to Mary F. Arrington and Tracy M. Arrington in Newark, Nj, the family moved in and out of New Jersey and Virginia several times forcing him to attend three different middle schools and three different high schools, he eventually dropped out of high school in 1983 and later earned a G.E.D while serving in the U.S. Navy. He served in the Navy for 9 years 1 month and 23 days being stationed in such places as Iceland, Bahrain and eventually Hawaii where he has called since 2003.
