Vasilis Christofilakis is an actor, director and writer who grew up in Athens, Greece. He studied film in the UK and worked in Greek theatre as a director and playwright for several years. He has directed works of various writers such as Tennessee Williams, Fernando Arrabal, Alejandro Jodorowski, Steve Thompson and others. In 2012 he directed Tennessee Williams' long forgotten first play "Spring Storm" which was the play's European Premiere outside the UK. He has represented Greece in European theatre festivals.
"Too Much Info Clouding Over My Head", a black and white smart comedy which is his first completed feature film and acting debut won 3 awards at Thessaloniki International Film Festival. The FIPRESCI Award for Best Greek Film, the ERT 'New Cinema' Award and the Greek Film Centre Award for Best Debut Film.
