Katrin Vankova

Katrin Vankova is an actress born in Sofia (Bulgaria) and raised in Barcelona (Spain). She stepped onto the stage for the first time when she was eight years old and her professional career began at the age of eighteen, having a wide range of participation both in audiovisual and theater. She has been part of leading national and international projects such as the "The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent" movie directed by Tom Gormican and produced by Lionsgate, the Netflix show "Warrior Nun", the Amazon show "Alex Rider" and the Sony one "Snatch". Furthermore, she also has in post-production the new "Savage Hunt" movie directed by "Halo" filmmaker Roel Reiné and "Verified Target", directed by Milena Grujic and produced by Catalyst Studio and Bandur Films.
She recently performed as "Jess" in the Pulitzer Awarded "Cost of Living" by Martyna Majok at the Villarroel Theater in Barcelona, for which she was nominated as Best Promising Actress at the Barcelona Theater Awards 2023. She was selected as the only Spanish actress participating at the Berlinale Talents Programm 2019, and she received the Best Actress Award for the project "Atópica" at the Barciff Film Fest 2018.
