However her earliest steps in the entertainment business did not count on it.
Sarrah studied Journalism and Theater at the American University in Cairo (AUC), where she took part in several plays. Her first foray into acting was opposite superstar Ahmed Helmy in the fantasy-comedy film 1000 Mabrook. She took part in three seasons of Ahmed Amin's AlPlateau show (2016-2017), which premiered to a great success on TV and scored high-viewership records on YouTube. She has also been actively taking part in a number of environmental, social and women empowerment initiatives.
She made her breakthrough role in Sabe' Gar TV series (2017), a record-breaking off-Ramadan drama that achieved tremendous success. She played the role of a young girl who tries to figure out the meaning of life and build up her own future plans through reckless and impulsive decisions.
