- While it's true that in Norway homophobia is not as prominent as in Italy, I think it has been important to show the story between Martino and Niccolò for what it is: a normal love story. It helps normalizing it and makes people understand that the love between two boys is the same as the love between a girl and a boy.
- In Italy it's rare that teenagers get shown in this way, it's really rare. Usually series tend to judge them or to have someone explains them their mistakes. Instead in Skam Italia, teenagers face reality, live reality, interact with each other, grow, but they don't get judged, there isn't a grown up eye that observes them and judges them.
