Juan Diego Medellin

Juan Diego left Colombia when he was 16 years old to find a better future for his mother, sister and himself. He moved to Miami, USA to live with his father's family. During High School, He developed a need to tell stories that was nurtured by his photography teacher, and that led him to study film production in college. From short films to creative classes, he moved around and learned the different ways to tell stories, inspiring him to begin his studies in the art of animation and visual effects. After graduating from SCAD with a bachelors in Animation, Juan Diego began his professional career at Spin VFX, where he has worked on multiple movies and shows doing tracking and different tasks in the layout department, but his dream is to one day create his own movies and tell his stories to inspire the world.
