Teryn Macallan is an American actor born in Northern California. After studying violin, a cappella singing, show choir, dance and video production in high school he started acting professionally in the Bay Area with his first lead role in the short film "Robin" (2017). Teryn then began studying acting intensively at Los Medanos College debuting on stage in three plays back to back. He received two consecutive KCACTF acting nominations, first for his debut stage performance in "Reality Check" (2017) and then for his following performance in "Hand to God" (2018). After receiving his associate's degree in acting from LMC in 2018, he transferred to continue studying acting as well as musical theater at San Diego State University, where he performed in one play and two musicals within his first year. In 2019 he was selected to perform in Italy as a lead in the musical "Sister Act" (2019) for the study abroad program Music Academy International. In 2022 shortly after performing in one final musical production, he graduated from SDSU with a bachelor's degree in theater with a performance emphasis in acting & musical theater. In 2024 Teryn starred as the titular role in the feature film "Days of August" (2024). Along with being an actor he also explores filmmaking via writing, directing, shooting and editing his own original projects in collaboration with his actor-filmmaker peers to grow his understanding of the industry as a whole.
