David Stobbe(I)
- Actor
Hailing from Joliet, Illinois, David is a dedicated and relentless actor specializing in film and stage. As an actor he has worked across Chicago as well as regionally from Nashville TN, Minneapolis MN, and Albuquerque NM. Winning awards for most original work, and top venue pick at fringe festivals for which David acted and produced and developed work with the now folded collective Bittersweet Arts Co. post undergrad.
While at a day job at Chicago's own Wendella Sightseeing, he continued his education through Shattered Globes Protege Program, and Master Scene Study classes eventually meeting his now mentor and friend, Oliver/Tony nominated actor Michael Hayden.
His mentorship lead David to not only create a more specific rehearsal process, but a deeper disposition for the craft at large. Cutting his teeth in Chicago's storefront scene, he applied his development skills into the room. Allowing him work with Chicagos award-winning upcoming playwrights like Terry Guest, Brynne Frauenhoffer, and Karissa Murrell Myers.
Branching off into film, it was at a table read in which David would work with Chicago's award-winning director/writer John Mossman eventually playing the tragic role of Cade in his internationally renowned feature Good Guy with a Gun.
Represented by DDO Artists Agency, David is in service to the story above all else.
