Jean Kartal is an award winning actor and athlete with a multicultural background. Known for films such as Mission Impossible, Dead reckoning, Abigail and Silent love stories. He has worked with two Oscar winning directors and is currently filming another Hollywood blockbuster film in London, due to be in cinemas summer 2025.
Born in Moscow to a Russian mother and Turkish father. They relocated to Sweden when Jean was 5 years old. At the age of 18 Jean moved to Los Angeles to play college basketball. That's also where he got his start in acting and stayed in Los Angeles for 10 years. He graduated the prestigious Stella Adler drama school and started booking roles in films soon after. Jeans first role after graduating drama school was the role of "Jesus" in Abigail.
Jean won the best Actor Award at (the Global Film Festival Awards) in 2018 for his portrayal of Charles in "Silent Love Stories" In 2015 Jean played the lead role of Ned Weeks in the Oscar winners Milton Justice production of "Destiny of me", Dir Milton Justice. In 2017 Jean got cast to play the role of Jesus in the drama film "Abigail". Dir, Vera Mikailenko. He played the the Sonarman in "Mission Impossible, dead reckoning,2024 Dir, by Christopher Mcquarrie.
