Biography

Tapan Acharya (born 2 august1981) is an Indian film director, screenwriter, actor, producer and television host. Born in Goa,s Small village towards Souther Boundary of the state know as Loliem, He began his career in industry by working as an assistant director.

Although he always wanted to be behind camera, circumstances forced him to host TV show on Doordarshan Goa which was big supper hit dance reality show called as Chum chanana. Than it was his first film Its my life 2006 Directed by Dnynesh Moghe, his official debut was with Aleesha 2004,Which was released in First IFFI at Goa, it was the most well received movie which won National Award for Best Feature Film in Regional Category
