Francis Sun is a Los Angeles-based film composer. He has composed music for over ten Netflix series and movies, with genres ranging from sci-fi, romance, drama, animation, comedy, to thriller. His strong passion for music was inspired by the album Yo-Yo Ma Plays Ennio Morricone when he was still in high school. Understanding the power of music, Francis decided to pursue a career in music and, he started working at Perfect Music, a leading Taiwan-based music production & film composing company.
Francis' music is deeply inspired by composers like Ennio Morricone, Hans Zimmer, Thomas Newman, and John Williams. He has composed in various styles, including hybrid, orchestra, band, and electric. After years of experience as a professional film composer, he flew over the Pacific Ocean, all the way to Los Angeles, in pursuit of more inspirations, techniques, and networking with music talents from around the world.
