Jeremy William Smith is a Los Angeles based composer and singer-songwriter best known for his original score for Coin Heist (2017). Born in Midland, Texas, Jeremy spent his formative years living in Quito, Ecuador with his family. His music career began in 2008 when his band Days Difference signed with Universal Motown/Republic. As frontman of the quartet, Smith opened tours for Selena Gomez, Owl City, Jordin Sparks, All Time Low and The Plain White T's and co-wrote singles for The Plain White T's ("Boomerang") and the UK's Boyzone ("Love Is A Hurricane"). He relocated to Los Angeles in 2012 to pursue a career in film scoring. He scored his first feature, "Coin Heist," a Netflix original film in 2017, wrote the theme and underscore for digital series "Icarus" (2017), and scored "Hold to Your Best Self," an upcoming digital series by Emily Hagins.
