Jaya McSharma is a doctor-turned-actress, best known for being the writer, co-director, and lead actress of #BrownBridgetMD. She has written and hosted three successful web series and was selected as a top 20 finalist in the Louisiana Film Prize. She was voted Best Actress 2018 at the Louisiana Film Prize for #BrownBridgetMD, where she was featured in 3 additional films: Oysterman, Sammy Dees: Car Salesman Extraordinaire, and The Honeypot.
She also played an onscreen filmmaker and host of the successful five-episode web series, "Tour De Bossier," which won a Silver Addy Award.
She is a native of Alexandria, Louisiana and is married to the better half of McSharma Productions, her husband Jacob. Together they adore the three best cats in the world: Rose, Neo, and Wally!
