Francisca Aronsson

Francisca Anette Aronsson Grande (Sweden June 12, 2006), commonly known as Francisca Aronsson, is a Swedish/Peruvian actress, dancer and UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.
Francisca's reverence for arts, especially for acting, made her join performing arts workshops at the early age of 7 years. After enjoying outstanding results, she successfully attended an audition to participate at the Saturday live show "Gisela, El Gran Show". Finally she got callbacks to participate in upcoming episodes, highlighting a primetime interview. Ever since then, Francisca has kept appearing in the theatrical world, playing leading- and supporting roles in drama TV series and movies at national and regional level.
Actress in a leading role
Francisca credits her leading role as Margarita in the movie "Margarita" (La Soga Producciones, 2016) to be the breakthrough of her career. The movie, partly filmed in Paris (France), enjoyed success and became released at theaters across Peru and Bolivia in 2016; was broadcast throughout Mexico, USA, and China as well as showcased at Latin American film festivals across Australia, Malaysia, and New Zeeland in 2017. At the beginning of 2018, the sequel, "Margarita 2" was produced between a beach resort of northern Peru and the capital of Lima. "Margarita 2", is the second movie starring Francisca Aronsson and was released on movie theaters across Peru and Bolivia in August 2018.
In the comedy, "Cebiche de tiburón" (New Century Films, 2016) Francisca interprets the villain girl Chichis while in the cultural comedy "El Gran Criollo" her character is Lucia (Escencia Films, 2016). "Cebiche de tiburón" was released in theaters across Peru at the beginning of 2017 while "El Gran Criollo" was premiered in the United States in May, 2017 and in Peru in Octubre, 2017.

Francisca's highlighted characters in drama series are Cinthia Castillo throughout three seasons of "Ven, baila, quinceañera" (América Televisión, 2015, 2016 and 2017), Danielita Reyes in the 7th and 8th seasons of "Al Fondo Hay Sitio" (América Televisión, 2015 y 2016), María Esperanza in "Mis Tres Marías" (América Televisión, 2016), Camilita Bermúdez in "Amor de madre" (América Televisión, 2015) and Lucia in "Relatos para no dormir" (Panamericana TV, 2015). Both "Ven, baila, quinceañera" and "Al Fondo Hay Sitio" have been broadcast across various countries of Latin America and in the USA (Cadena sur). Currently Francisca plays a supporting role (Vanessa) in the suspense drama series "Te volveré a encontrar" (América Televisión, 2018). 120 episodes were produced and is currently set on air on Peruvian television.
In the upcoming Amazon Prime Video production "El Internado: Las Cumbres" (Atresmedia, Globomedia, The Mediapro Studio, 2020) Francisca is part of the principal cast. This series was filmed in Spain and is an anticipated reboot season of the former Spanish success stories of "The Boarding School" (Atresmedia, 2007-2010).

Regarding theater, Francisca has performed in a number of plays: "Billy Elliot the Musical" (Debbie Wilkinson, 2018), "Daddy Long Legs" (Stephanie Peterson, 2017), "Coco" (Grecia, 2016 & 2017) and "Las aventuras de Charlie & Dolly" (Dolly, 2017). This fall (October 20) is the premiere of the play "Luciana y su sombra" (Luciana,2018).
In 2019, Francisca was announced as UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador in Peru.
