Emad Kiyaei
Emad provides political, business and civil society leaders and executives with strategic advice in the field of political risk, security policy, conflict prevention and mediation. His forthcoming book, 'Weapons of Mass Destruction: A new approach to non-proliferation,' will be published by Routledge and Chatham House in 2017.
Emad is a principal at the Interdisciplinary Global Development Group (IGD Group), which consists of select network of international experts engaged in socio-economic development, peace building and environmental affairs. His area of focus is peace and security in the Middle East. In addition, he serves as a policy advisor for the American Iranian Council (AIC), a nonprofit and nonpartisan educational organization that focuses on US-Iran relations.
He also conducted research at Princeton University's Woodrow Wilson School of Public & International Affairs, focusing on geopolitics and security issues in the Middle East. Previously, Emad was an associate at the Center for International Conflict Resolution (CICR) at Columbia University, focusing on Middle East and Iranian affairs. Emad frequently contributes and gives interviews to national and international media. He has also been invited to speak and participate at conferences worldwide. Emad holds a Master of International Affairs from Columbia University School of International and Public Affairs.
