Alexandre Buyukodabas

Alexandre Büyükodabas was born in Vitry-sur-Seine (France) in 1993. During his childhood and teenage years, he learns music at the conservatory and creates a rock band; then, he decides to start law studies. During his Bachelor years between Fribourg (Switzerland) and Paris, he joins the university theatre club and stages a play. He finally joins the ENS Louis Lumière, movie speciality, and discovers broadcasting techniques but also script writing, directing and editing. In this curriculum, he also directs several short movies, and write an essay entitled "Proposition for a reinvention of political bodies through cinema eroticism: violence, poetics, imagination", under the supervision of Pr. David Faroult. Since his graduation, he spends his time between his director and assistant director projects, and his movies and TV shows critic activity for the weekly cultural magazine "Les Inrockuptibles". He recently joined the young artists collective YEA !
