Pilar Fridman

Pilar Fridman Moriano was born in Buenos Aires in 1994. At the age of thirteen, she began her acting studies with Nora Moseinco, under whose guidance she honed her acting skills. She currently trains with the esteemed actor and director, Julio Chávez.
In 2020, she was awarded the national SAGAI scholarship to further her private education and another scholarship from the SAGAI foundation to study Acting for Audiovisual Media. She was chosen for the Talents BsAs program, as seen on their website.
She studied on-camera acting with Paula Hernández, Pablo Giorgelli, and Marco Berger.
Pilar made her film debut in Marco Berger's "Mariposa" which was showcased at the 65th Berlin International Film Festival. In 2016, she appeared in "Taekwondo", a film by Marco Berger and Martin Farina, presented at the 18th BAFICI. She took leading roles in the short films "Bon Odori" (La mujer y El cine) and "Alguien Arriba" (BAFICI 23).
She was part of TV series such as "El Hincha" (directed by Alejandro Ciancio for Flow), "Limbo" (directed by Agustina Macri for Starplus and Pampafilms), "Cartas a mi Ex" (directed by Jazmín Stuart for UntresTV), and "Encerrados" (directed by Benjamín Ávila for Netflix).
Her debut play, "Cyan", won an award at the Operas Primas competition of the Rojas Cultural Center in 2018. She served as the director, writer, and lead actress for this production over two years.
Her second play, "Delfina", received a special mention in the Dramaturgy category of the 2020 PROA Foundation's Encouragement to Writing Award, judged by Alfredo Arias.
In 2019, the National Cervantes Theater invited her to participate in a reading of the French play "Eau-Forte" as part of the Tintas Frescas series, co-produced with the French Institute and Alliance Française. Two years later, this project won European funding and is set to premiere in Buenos Aires in September 2023, with Pilar in a leading role.
Most recently, she starred in "Las Rojas" (Short Stories by INCAA, produced by LeTiro Cine), which premiered at the Mar del Plata International Festival and later in Fantasmapoa, Brazil.
