Mark Medeiros(I)
- Actor
- Stunts
Nothing screams heartless villain quite like the dark and mysterious brute, with long wild hair, and a body covered in intricate Polynesian tattoos. But Mark Medeiros is the perfect recipe for all things bad! Whether it's having a shootout with Scott Caan (Hawaii Five-0), torturing Ken Leung (Rush Hour), or kidnapping AnnaLynne McCord (Nip/Tuck), Mark is the epitome of a ruthless rebel.
But delve deeper, behind his hard exterior he hides a soft soulful voice. Influenced by his native culture's love for music, Mark yields a strong passion for songwriting and singing. His mastery of the ukulele is seen in indie films such as Go For Broke, where he plays a WW2 soldier serenading a bar full of admirers. His recorded music also gained notoriety in his hometown of Hawaii, which plays on island-themed radio stations locally and worldwide.
With an affinity for bodybuilding and martial arts, his obsession with fitness and combat led him to join the Army fresh out of High School. This obsession also bled into his acting career by using his military training and daring athleticism to perform his own stunts. On set, he has done everything from falls to fight choreography, firing guns while hanging out of a speeding car, being launched in the air by cables, and even blown up with explosives. His most recent stunt project was for the highly-anticipated video game, Anthem, produced by Electronic Arts and directed by Neill Blomkamp (District 9, Elysium).
When Mark isn't acting or writing his next album, he is looking for opportunities to give back to his community. Sponsoring and supporting programs such as the Miss Hawaii Pageant, Children & Youth Day, and Cool Schools - a fundraiser for children in need of AC. He also gives back by volunteering his time to help less fortunate families renovate their homes, as well as using his music talents to raise funds and awareness for many children's charities! All in all, Mark is a beast with a heart of gold!
