- Studied French for 5 1/2 years at Saratoga Springs Jr-Sr High School in Saratoga Springs, New York.

- Played Women's Professional Football for the inaugural year of the San Diego Surge in 2011 as part of the WFA (Women's Football Alliance) as DT (Defensive Tackle). The San Diego Surge went all the way to the National Championship in Dallas, TX where they met their first defeat of the season; Carol Ann played DT and Special Teams (Kick-Off) in the National Championship.
- Has attended four community colleges resulting in an Associate Degree in English and an Associate Degree in Creative Writing from Grossmont College in El Cajon, CA as well as a Certificate of Completion in Russian Studies from the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, CA.
- Has five "half-siblings" and three "step-siblings" leading to her self-proclaiming to have "eight brothers and sisters, but I'm an only child.".
- Born as Carol Ann Pillsbury to Anna Marie Gardino & William Pillsbury (neé Frank) Sunday, September 5th 1976. Her parents divorced when she was four. Her mother remarried when she was nine. At age eleven, she was adopted by stepfather Dean Mark Van Natten.
