Marissa is a bi-coastal Latinx actress. Originally from San Antonio, TX, she splits her time evenly between New York and Los Angeles with frequent stops to her home state. After completing an Associate's degree at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts in Los Angeles, she enrolled in NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, where she graduated with a BFA in Drama with a minor in Linguistics. As a playwright, her work can be seen around New York City where she lives with her spouse, dog, and cat. As an actor her work can be seen most recently in the Amazon film 'The Dark Places' and in the award winning horror short 'The Spirit Room'. She is also the Vice President of Imaginarium Theater Company, a nonprofit theatre company that focuses on exploring meaningful storytelling while upholding socially and ecologically responsible practices.
