Austin Martin (Actor) is an 18 year old actor, script writer and singer from Hinesville, Georgia. Austin developed an interest in acting through local school plays where he had various speaking and singing parts. Austin is active in his local church and sings quite a bit leading several songs. Austin is in the 12th grade and a city elected Youth Councilperson. Austin is an honor student. A member of the National Honor Society and the Elementary National Honor Society and has received the prestigious 2016 President's Education Awards Program Outstanding Academic Achievement Certificate signed by the President of the United States. Austin is active in several extra-curricular activities. He was elected to the position of President of his 6th grade class and Vice President 8th and 9th grade. Last school year was the Vice President of his local 4-H Club and played the trombone in his school elementary band. Austin is also a pretty good athlete and loves track and field and baseball where he has played for the local county recreation league baseball team for the last three years; making the All-Star Baseball Team for the county. Austin has attended the Actor's Academy for Dramatic Arts" (AADA). Austin made his first acting debut in a supporting role as the brother of the lead character in the movie, "Ben & Ara", was featured in "Birth of a Nation - The Nat Turner Rebellion", and a lead character in "My Brother's Keeper" and Supporting Actor "son of the lead" in "A Christmas Prayer". Austin has also been an extra in the movies, "The Color Purple" and "A May December". Additionally, Austin played a lead role in television movie, "Kids Inspire" which was a documentary about bullying, was photographed for a city-wide billboard and in a commercial. Austin has received accolades for his performances. He was awarded the Rendezvous Film Festival "Best Actor Child Fan Favorite" and "Best Child Actor".
